Duties and responsibilities:-Standards for Business Excellence are set by the Almatis Business System (ABS). This business system is based on the management concepts of the leading Japanese automotive producer, Toyota, merged with Six Sigma principles. The ABS Specialist will implement our globally defined ABS elements at the Huangdao location. The ABS Specialist also ensures that the ABS elements become part of the day to day culture of Huangdao Plant.-Be responsible for the auditing program from design through deployment and verification and ensure that all ABS elements are appropriately audited to verify the compliance and acceptance of the element.-Be responsible for developing the training plan for new and existing employees.-Be responsible for reporting the progress of the training plan and ABS implementation locally and globally as well as ensures continuous improvement. QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:-Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university.-Over 5 years related experiences; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably from chemical/manufacturing industry.Knowledge and Skills:-Must have knowledge and working experience in lean manufacturing / TPS / technical/ chemical engineering / production automation.-Must have experience in Industrial or other Engineering discipline, ideally within the process industry.-Knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, and statistical data.  Database software experience is a plus.
